子どもの日常と感情を、やさしくあたたかく描くイラストレーターです。
I'm Elena Aiello, an illustrator and character designer working in children's publishing and interactive media under the name Elenapugger.
For over eight years, I've been creating colorful illustrations, memorable characters, and engaging stories for publishers, educational companies, and brands around the world.
My work spans picture books, board books, educational content, mascots, and interactive AR experiences.
To date, I've illustrated more than 60 children's books published internationally, always aiming to combine warmth, emotion, and playful storytelling with expressive character design.
Alongside commissioned work, I enjoy developing original IPs, including Cutilli, a series inspired by the funny and heartwarming everyday adventures of my children.
Before becoming a full-time illustrator, I studied art, design, and digital media, experiences that continue to shape my creative approach today.
Together with my husband, I co-founded Bad Pug, a creative studio specializing in illustration, AR, XR, and interactive experiences. This multidisciplinary background allows me to bridge traditional illustration with emerging technologies, creating projects that are both emotionally engaging and technologically innovative.
Today, I'm represented by Lemonade Illustration Agency and I'm a proud member of Illustrators Tsushin, Japan's leading professional community for illustrators.
エレナ・アイエッロ（Elenapugger） は、絵本や児童向けコンテンツを中心に活動するイラストレーター・キャラクターデザイナーです。
これまで8年以上にわたり、出版社、教育関連企業、ブランドと協力し、絵本、知育コンテンツ、キャラクター、マスコット、ARを活用したインタラクティブコンテンツなど、さまざまな作品を制作してきました。
これまでに50冊以上の児童書のイラストを手がけ、あたたかさ、想像力、そして物語性を大切にした表現を心掛けています。
オリジナル作品の制作にも力を入れており、子どもたちとの何気ない日常から生まれたキャラクターシリーズ 「Cutilli（クティッリ）」 をはじめ、親しみやすく心に残る世界観づくりを目指しています。イラストレーターとして活動する以前は、美術・デザイン・デジタルメディアを学び、その経験を活かして、表現力と技術を融合させた作品づくりに取り組んでいます。
また、夫とともにクリエイティブスタジオ Bad Pug を設立し、イラストレーションに加え、AR・XR・インタラクティブコンテンツの企画・制作も行っています。
現在は Lemonade Illustration Agency に所属し、イラストレーターズ通信 の会員としても活動しています。
